Anne-Marie Duff is an English actor and Narrator. Duff has graduated from Drama Centre London in 1990 she made her debut television appearances on Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff, a British actress was born in Chiswick on the 8th of October, 1970. Anne-Marie Duff was born on 8th October 1970 and is an English stage and screen actress. She first gained prominence in the role of Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. Then she played the role of Queen Elizabeth I in The Virgin Queen (2006) as well as the lead character in the series From Darkness in 2015. Duff was in films such as Enigma (2001) The Magdalene Sisters Notes on a Scam (2006) French Film (2008) The Last Station and Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2015). The roles she played on the screen in Shameless The Virgin Queen Nowhere Boy and Suffragette have earned her BAFTA nominations for categories like the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories. In addition, she was given her the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Actress due to her role in the television movie The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff has been a popular award-winning English actress who has created her own mark on TV, stage and on the radio. Her fame was largely due to her role as Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama TV show Shameless as well as The Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen. Anne Marie has grown into a talented theatre actress after over 20 years of stage performances, which includes working with The Royal National Theatre.
